Breitsamer is a family business in Bavaria that has been committed to producing premium specialty honeys for over 85 years. Every variety of honey is subject to the highest quality standards and includes transparent information regarding its origins. Breitsamer’s range comprises a broad spectrum of honeys and just as wide a variety of packaging solutions to go with them – from honey in glass jars, to honey in squeeze bottles and honey sticks, through to large containers for the food service industry. The company places a special focus on the quality, functionality, and sustainability of its packaging solutions.

Packaging specialist Greiner Packaging has now developed and produces a honey bottle made of r-PET with 50 percent recycled material for Breitsamer. The new bottle is based on an existing packaging concept that is highly suitable for squeezing out and dispensing the product inside. One new development is that recycled materials are used to produce the bottles, an approach that scores points with the product’s consumer target group – families and single-person households, who have ever-higher expectations with respect to sustainability and eco-friendliness.

Specialty honeys in a convenient squeeze bottle

Breitsamer offers the perfect honey for any occasion, whether drizzled over muesli, spread on bread, or stirred into tea, from rich-flavored to smooth and mild varieties. Like the old solution, the new bottles feature a convenient opening in the bottle’s cap for easy, mess-free dispensing.
