Tubs are ideal for protecting food products like butter, spreads, and ice cream. Their geometry makes it particularly easy for consumers to access the food inside. Tubs are also highly popular in the nonfood sector, where, among other applications, they’re often used to package household products such as detergent. As a highlight, embossing techniques can be applied to tubs. The resulting unique surface textures not only have a visual and tactile appeal, they also ensure that larger tubs in particular sit very comfortably in the hand.

We take a variety of approaches to make our tubs as sustainable as possible, such as reducing our material inputs. One particularly successful example is our use of cardboard-plastic combinations, where the cardboard sleeve provides the necessary stability to support the thin plastic tub. The use of alternative materials is also integral to the production of our packaging solutions.
