Greiner Packaging becomes a member of Styrenics Circular Solutions
Greiner Packaging wants to actively promote a circular economy. To do so, the company takes measures for all materials it processes. In order to promote a closed loop for polystyrene (PS), Greiner Packaging has now joined Styrenics Circular Solutions (SCS), which is committed to fulfil the unique circularity capacity of polystyrene. Thus, the plastics processor takes advantage of the opportunity to cooperate with partners along the entire value chain. These currently include: COEXPAN, ELIX Polymers, INEOS Styrolution, Repsol, TOMRA, Total, Trinseo and Versalis (Eni).
Jens Kathmann, Secretary-General of SCS, welcomes Greiner Packaging on behalf of all the members: “We are delighted that as 2020 progresses, our membership keeps expanding. We are so pleased to welcome Greiner Packaging, a company strongly committed to the circular economy and fulfilling the intrinsic capacity for recycling of polystyrene.
