Founder, Emerging Motif
Dennis Bankmann founded his consultancy ‘Emerging Motif’, focused on sustainability, circularity, and product safety in chemical industry and its downstream markets in 2021. This move follows more than a decade of experience in industrial research & development in packaging adhesives and coatings and a strategy development role focused on the circular economy strategy of a large chemical products company. Dennis has been involved in the development of numerous guidelines, whitepapers, experimental studies, and standards related to circularity and food and product safety and continues to apply his experience to facilitate science-based, clear, and impactful decision-making.

Richard von Götze
Director Key Accounts Interzero
Richard is the Director for Key Accounts of the Interzero-Group, an international waste management and recycling company. Richard has a background in chemistry and a Ph.D. in polymer catalysis. Prior to joining Interzero, Richard worked as a consultant on international projects in the chemical- and pharmaceutical industry. Currently he overseas the development of large customer relationships in mechanical and chemical recycling.
Session: Addressing the feedstock challenge
Collaboration of waste management companies and their partners are necessary to be able to fulfil the challenging demands from the PPWR.
At current growth rates, influenced through the current political landscape incl. energy prices, recycling companies are struggling to provide the investments needed for long-term capacity growth. Partnerships along the value chain are necessary to be able to work towards the Interzero mission of “a world without waste”.

Head of Packaging and Food Waste Strategies, Tesco
A retail and operations change expert currently focused on leading packaging initiatives that drive circularity, prevent waste and deliver sustainable improvements that help make tomorrow's performance better than todays. Working to remove packaging where it’s not required, reduce the environmental impacts of packaging, identifying scalable reuse solutions to replace single use and improve the probability of recycling for our customers.

Volker Muche studied Packaging Technology at TFH Berlin (now the Berlin University of Applied Sciences). His extensive experience in the packaging sector includes a wide range of responsible roles on the side of brand manufacturers, packaging producers, and packaging consultants. Over the past ten years, he has specialized in the sustainability of packaging – the core of his company pacoon Sustainability Concepts’ business model.
