Three in one: Greiner Assistec, in collaboration with Greiner Perfoam, is contributing to the retaining strap for the rear shelf in the BMW Series 1 and in the Mercedes-Benz GLA. The polyamide cord is over-molded directly in an innovative vertical injection molding machine. In the past, the three-stage process required three separate forms, but the machine designed by Greiner Assistec now combines the three steps in one single form. This significantly reduces costs and saves time. Precisionand accuracy are ensured by means of an automatic device.
