With extrusion blow molding, a tube is continuously extruded, cut off on both ends and passed into a forming mold. 
Here the hot tube is inflated with compressed air onto the forming mold. 

Polyethylene (PE) is mostly processed. This technology is used for the production of bottles, canisters and cans.
