Greiner Packaging Wernberg is situated in the very south of Austria, close to the Slovenian and Italian borders. It is one of the youngest facilities in the company’s history. Wernberg is beautifully nestled in the middle of a lake triangle formed by the Ossiacher See, Faaker See and Wörthersee and due to its geographical position particularly suitable to cater to the customers’ demands in South Eastern Europe and provide them with high-quality packaging solutions. 

Greiner Packaging Wernberg sprang from the former Expan Group and during the last  two decades has become excellently established particularly in the cosmetics industry. It offers a wide variety of technology and acts as a systems provider. The product range includes bottles, the relevant closures and decoration and/or assembly. Its comprehensive portfolio is rounded off by an in-house project management team that advises on any design and development queries. In addition, it uses the long-lasting know-how within the entire network. 

According to Greiner Packaging’s motto “do the innovation“, the location Wernberg has positioned itself as the competence center for closures within Greiner Packaging International. Its further enlargement is one of the numerous central future topics and targets of Greiner Packaging Wernberg.
