Greiner Packaging International, packaging producer with headquarter in Austria, has been adding to and enlarging its network throughout Europe. Since 01 01 2010 Greiner Packaging Slovenia has held 51% of the shares in the joint venture with the Serbian company Jovanovic Plast d.o.o. Willi Eibner, CEO of Greiner Packaging International, is pleased to say: “Due to this participation we are now able to work the growing market in South Eastern Europe even more efficiently.”

Kremsmünster, 26 January 2010. – At the beginning of 2010, Greiner Packaging Slovenia and Jovanovic Plast d.o.o. started a joint venture. Greiner Packaging Slovenia holds 51% of the shares in the new joint venture, which will be named Greiner Packaging JP d.o.o. The company Jovanovic Plast is based in Nova Pazova about 30 kilometres from Belgrade and about 50 kilometres from Novi Sad. At present, the company employs a workforce of 95 people.

Injection moulding specialist with a wide product portfolio
Jovanovic Plast d.o.o. is a specialist for the development and realisation of injection moulding projects using the in-mould labelling method. The production area is supported by in-house mould construction. The product portfolio is comprehensive and includes a large number of plastic products for daily needs, for example food storage boxes, ice-cream and cheese packaging, flower pots, garden furniture and various household articles.

Family-owned for more than three decades
Jovanovic Plast d.o.o. was founded by Milun Jovanovic in 1978. The company has grown continuously since then. Today, it exports its produce to Hungary, Bulgaria, Ukraine and all of the former Yugoslav republics. At the beginning of the year, management of the Joint Venture Greiner Packaging JP d.o.o. was taken over by Goran Jovanovic, the son of Milun Jovanovic.
