Harald Rammerstorfer takes over leadership for Division Greiner Assistec at Greiner Packaging


At the beginning of the year, Harald Rammerstorfer took over ultimate responsibility for Division Greiner Assistec. The responsibilities of the 42-year old include the strategic management of distribution and cross-border coordination of the distribution activities of Division Greiner Assistec. “Organised working and networked thinking are the essential cornerstones for keeping pace with the continuing globalisation”, Harald Rammerstorfer describes his aims within his scope of activities.

Kremsmünster, June 2009. – K, Kavo and Greiner Assistec: These three powerful divisions define the new distribution structure of Greiner Packaging. As Head of Division Greiner Assistec, Harald Rammerstorfer is in charge of strategic orientation and continuous development within the division. Openness, confidence and long-term thinking and acting are of particular importance to the father of three. “We are a sourcing partner to industry utilising plastics and offer development, production, assembling, logistics and service from a single source”, Rammerstorfer pinpoints the guiding principle of Division Greiner Assistec.
 
New distribution structure – maximum market orientation
After ten years of powerful expansion and successful positioning of the brand Greiner Packaging, the company decided to reorganise the distribution system structure in autumn 2008. Now, it is split up into three divisions. Greiner Packaging Division K creates the unique packaging proposition in terms of cups and lids for the food- and non-food industry. Greiner Packaging Division Kavo is a competent partner for the areas of plastic bottles and containers. Division Greiner Assistec submits evidence of its core competences in the areas of development, production, logistics, assembling and service as a sourcing partner for industry utilising plastics. With the new organisation of the structure, Greiner Packaging is heading even more decisively towards maximum market orientation. “All projects and activities are carried out in coordination with Greiner Packaging and the Managing Directors of the relevant countries”, underscores Harald Rammerstorfer.

Successful through goal-oriented and versatile activities
Upon graduation from the Handelsakademie in Steyr (in English: Commercial School), Harald Rammerstorfer started his professional career in accounting for Wohnbaugenossenschaft Styria. After this, the enthusiastic motor-biker took the position of the manager for controlling at Steyr-Daimler-Puch. The next station was the commercial management of Eudora. At General Logistics Systems, Harald Rammerstorfer continued his career as finance director for Austria and Eastern Europe. Lastly, at ifw, as a producer of injection moulds and injection-moulded parts, he was in charge of the managing director. There he gained valuable branch-relevant experience for his current job as Head of Division Greiner Assistec at Greiner Packaging.
