Greiner Packaging is setting trends at Interpack 2008
with the trade fair subject “the world of communication“ and creative packaging innovations
Greiner Packaging is fully devoting its presentation at Interpack 2008 (24-30 April, Düsseldorf) to the theme of communication. Even before the trade fair ends, Willi Eibner, CEO of Greiner Packaging International, gives a successful preliminary résumé: “We succeeded in stimulating enthusiasm in visitors to the ’world of communication’. The company’s strength in communication has been made visible at our stand. We managed to emphasise our role as a trendsetter in our business through the presentation of creative packaging innovations“.
Düsseldorf / Kremsmünster, 28 April 2008. – The “world of communication“ which was Greiner Packaging’s main topic at the Interpack was divided up in four main areas:
creativity, technology, consultancy und sustainability In the area of “creativity“, Greiner Packaging provided for brand-new packaging ideas. With lightening speed, caricaturists sketched portraits of visitors to the exhibition stand. The area “technology” presented an overview of the wide range of production and decoration technology. “consultancy“ was demonstrated as a typical example of how a packaging is created – from idea to completed solution. “sustainability“ stressed the importance that this topic has gained in the packaging industry.
Creative packaging highlights Two packaging solutions stood out from a wide range of new packaging solutions: A special yoghurt packaging for children has been implemented for the Swiss company Elsa, a member of the Migros group. Targeted at the European Football Championship 2008, the product offers both yoghurt enjoyment and the fun of a game. A Disney football figure is enclosed in the transparent lower half of the packaging. At Interpack 2008, Greiner Packaging presented the most recent k3 further developments, e.g. the new k3 RS to name just one. RS stands for “round-squarround“ – a unique shape with a newly designed bottom. The modern design increases brand recognition.

At the same time, communication forms the basis for many long-standing partnerships and is the key to accompanying customers on the way from concept to completed packaging. Communication is also the decisive factor of success at Point of Sale. Here too, packaging that possesses a high communicative quality is always one step ahead.
