Cool coffee buzz out of premium cups
Greiner Packaging packs the Dutch product Café Fresco


Since June 2006, Café Fresco has been available on the Dutch market in the flavours Cappuccino and Macchiato. The new refreshing coffee drink is the result of cooperation between two companies which are committed to providing the highest possible quality: Douwe Egberts and Campina stand for excellent coffee and top-quality milk products. Their consistent premium philosophy finds its continuation in packaging. Thus, Café Fresco is being filled in k3 cups by Greiner Packaging.

Kremsmünster, 23 August 2006. – Douwe Egberts, Campina and Greiner Packaging are reaching new heights within the booming market for cold coffee drinks. Café Fresco offers captivating premium quality in every detail – from the ingredients and the mixing ratio to the packaging.

Cappuccino and Macchiato
The new soft drink is prepared using 100 percent Arabica coffee mixed with fresh milk. In Dutch supermarkets and service stations, it is available in the flavours Cappuccino and Macchiato. Café Fresco was conceived mainly for consumption in between meals and when travelling. Greiner Packaging is providing a k3 PP cup holding 230 millilitres which also caters to these customer requirements.

Lid with metallic effect
It is possible to consume the coffee drink in small portions thanks to the cup's reclosable clip-on lid made of PS. At its centre, the lid is transparent. The pre-printed rim enhances its eye-catching appearance at Point of Sale. An elegant metallic effect strikingly underscores the high quality claim of Café Fresco.

Condensation drops that look like real
The cardboard wrap which coats the k3 cup convinces through the brilliant quality of the print and a unique feature. The deceivingly real images of condensation drops represented on Café Fresco are an eye-catcher in the refrigerated display case and raise the appetite for a cool coffee buzz.
