With extrusion blow moulding, a tube is continuously extruded, cut off on both ends and passed into a forming mould.

Here the hot tube is inflated with compressed air onto the forming mould. Polyethylene (PE) is mostly processed. This technology is used for the production of bottles, canisters and cans.
